Yoga Styles:
Vinyasa Flow ~ Sometimes described as a moving meditation, Vinyasa Flow Involves explore a variety of asana (poses) including balances, flowing with the breath and ending with a relaxing Savasana. Vinyasa is quite a dynamic form of yoga in which you will build strength, mobility and stability as well as moving mindfully.
Gentle Flow - This is a gentle-paced yoga class aimed at those who are new to yoga, people who may be working with injuries or conditions (please let me know if this is the case) or if you simply prefer a gentle practice. We will move through yoga asana (poses) with a focus on exploring mindful movement with the breath, listening to our bodies and taking any variations that suit us
Yin Yoga ~ A deeply nurturing practice in which you will explore longer held poses giving you time to truly check in with the body and mind. You are encouraged to ‘find your edge’, using props to support you and then find stillness as you relax and release in to each pose for a few minutes. Yin Yoga is a great addition to balance other more dynamic exercise. It can help to gradually increase mobility by focusing on the deeper connective tissues surrounding the muscles (tendons, ligaments and fascia), improve joint health and relieve stress and anxiety.
Slow Flow & Yin ~ Designed to help you stretch and unwind, this class combines slow flowing sequences and longer held Yin poses. A mindful practice, moving with kind attention to help you relax towards the end of the day.
Classes are suitable for all levels of experience as options/modifications are given.
