A bit about me...

After practising different styles of yoga  over many years, I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training (Hatha and Vinyasa Flow) at Harmonise Training Academy, Hove in 2018.  I then built upon this by completing my Yin Yoga training at Kranti Yoga in Goa, India in December 2019.  A balance of Yin and Yang style yoga is now part of my personal practice and my teaching.  I enjoy continuing to develop as a student and teacher of yoga by attending regular workshops.  I have up-to-date First Aid Training and I’m a member of Yoga Alliance Professionals. I teach group sessions, workplace sessions and one-to-ones.

Yoga has had a transformative effect on my own life and I am passionate about sharing the physical and mental benefits of a regular yoga practice with others. I have a background in education and have an inclusive ethos in my class, welcoming students with a range of experience and encouraging them to explore their own personal practice. I truly believe that yoga is for everyone.

Yoga aids mobility, stability and flexibility which can help complement other sports, counteract the effects of sedentary jobs/lifestyles, support rehabilitation after injury and promote a healthy body and mind.
It can also be fun! As children we instinctively explore what our bodies can do, but we tend to lose this playfulness as we get older. Being open to exploring different asanas (yoga positions) in a safe, supportive environment without fear, can feel incredibly liberating.

I hope to see you on the mat!
